ME 241 Manufacturing Processes

Study from the designer's viewpoint of the principal manufacturing processes utilized. Includes casting, forming, material removal, and joining processes. Process selection will be discussed in terms of the economics, process effects on the products, and dimensional and quality of the finished product. Lecture and laboratory.
