Soc 497 Applied Survey Research

Provides theoretical framework for and experience in design, execution, and interpretation of social surveys including sampling procedures, questionnaire design, interviewing techniques, coding and computer analysis, and report writing. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Soc 597 and may be taken only once for credit. Recommended prerequisites: Stat 243 and Soc 397, 398 or equivalent.
