Mus 532 Band Wind Literature

A study of literature for ensembles of wind and wind/percussion instruments from about 1600 to the present. Historical perspective will be gained through reading, style-analysis, and listening. Attention will be given to the practical application of band literature in elementary and secondary teaching situations. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Mus 432 and may be taken only once for credit.
