Intensive analytical study of the history of music in the Medieval and Renaissance Periods (Mus 304), Baroque and Classical Periods (Mus 305) and Romantic and 20th century periods (Mus 306). This is the first course in a sequence of three: Mus 304, Mus 305, and Mus 306.
