Ling 419 Language Typology

Studies and classifies languages according to their structural features. Introduces (structural) linguistics and studies structures across languages. Prepares students for more theoretical and analytical courses in the department. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Ling 519 and may be taken only once for credit.
