ESM 425 Watershed Hydrology

Study of the movement and storage of water in watersheds, emphasizing physical processes. Includes systems analysis of watersheds, precipitation, snowmelt, infiltration, evapotranspiration, groundwater flow, streamflow generation, open channel flow, hydrograph analysis and an introduction to watershed hydrologic modeling. Also offered for graduate-level credit as ESM 525 and may be taken only once for credit. Recommended prerequisites: Mth 252, Ph 201.
