Anth 530 Myth, Ritual, and Symbol

A critical examination of both classic and recent anthropological theories in the cross-cultural study of symbolic forms. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Anth 430 and may be taken only once for credit. Expected preparation: 8 credits in sociocultural anthropology (Anth 304, 305 strongly recommended).
