Soc 560 Youth Subcultures

Youth as crisis and in crisis. Focus on methodology, ethnomethodology, and field experience; students will create ethnographs. Examination of the science of semiotics to understand subcultural style as language. Expected preparation: Soc 397. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Soc 460 and may be taken only once for credit.
