Mth 261 Introduction to Linear Algebra
Introduction to rudimentary set theory, the algebra of sets, systems of linear equations, linear transformations, matrix algebra, vector spaces, and determinants.

Prerequisites: Completion of
Mth 112 with a grade of C- or above within the last year, or passing at the necessary level on the mathematics placement test within the last year (see Math Department webpage at mth.pdx.edu for information).
