EE 523 Estimation and Detection

Theoretical and practical approaches to estimation and detection including both classical estimation techniques such as maximum likelihood and best linear unbiased estimation and Bayesian estimation techniques. Hypothesis testing, composite hypothesis testing, non-Gaussian noise, model change detection. Discussion of the advantages, limitations, and tradeoffs for each of these methods.
