The mission of Services for Students with Children is to support students with children in achieving life-balance that helps them stay the course to successful completion of their academic goals. They offer subsidized child care tuition for eligible students through the Jim Sells Childcare Program; flexible, by-the-hour childcare on-campus at Little and Baby Vikings; social and informational events, and much more! In addition, they oversee several family-friendly study rooms and 15 lactation spaces on campus as well as a free children’s clothing closet and food pantry. The Resource Center for Students with Children provides support for pregnant and postpartum students through individual consultation, and they actively advocate for student parents to faculty, staff, and administration.
