Fr 344 Literature and Cultures of the Francophone World

Focusing on cultural, political, and social realities, this course introduces students to literature in French from French-speaking areas outside of France. Readings include poetry, theater, and prose from representative authors as well as secondary texts that address authors, movements, and/or contexts. This course can be taken individually. Expected preparation: Fr 203; Fr 301 or Fr 302 strongly recommended.
