Art 487 Advanced Jewelry and Metalsmithing

An upper-level light metals course with focus on conceptual development and increasingly specific technical methodology. Builds on skills developed in lower-division courses and refines personal visual language and progression of ideas. Experimental materials and methods are encouraged. Recommended preparation: Art 102, Art 287 and Art 387 (expected of art & art history majors).
