Diversity and Multicultural Student Services (DMSS) serves and empowers student populations whose access, retention, academic success, and graduation are most challenged by socio-historical factors and contemporary inequities.

Our mission at DMSS is to provide an accessible inclusive environment that enriches the university experience and engages students, their families, and the community. There are seven departments within the DMSS unit: Multicultural Retention Programs, Student Legal Services, Disability Resource Center, TRIO Student Support Services, TRIO Pre-College Programs, Cultural Resource Centers, and the Veterans Resource Center.
