Mth 311 Introduction to Mathematical Analysis I

A rigorous treatment of the concepts of analysis. Properties of the real numbers. Sequences. Functions of a real variable: limits, continuity, and differentiability. Integration on the real line. Series of real numbers. Series of functions. Uniform convergence. Power series. This is the first course in a sequence of two: Mth 311, Mth 312; courses must be taken in sequence.
