SW 431 Generalist Practice with Individuals and Families

Based on generalist social work practice principles, this course prepares students for practice with individuals and families. The course focuses on helping students to develop assessment and intervention skills for working with individual and families. Students will learn how to gather the information that is necessary for a holistic assessment, how to work collaboratively with service users in defining goals, and how to select and facilitate appropriate interventions.
