Sci 359 Biopolitics

Designed to introduce the ethical, social, and political implications of knowledge and technologies attending advances in reproductive medicine and molecular genetics, including: in vitro fertilization, fetal surgery, and somatic cell gene therapy. Particular attention is paid to the manner in which such advances are likely to affect women's lives.
