ITP 539 Elementary Mathematics Methods

Emphasizes meaningful understanding of elementary-level mathematical concepts as well as strategies for developing competence with procedures and problem solving. Situates teaching, learning, and assessment within the multiple contexts of elementary classrooms, state and national standards, and research-based practices. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as ITP 439 and may be taken only once for credit.
