ITP 411 Classroom Management for Student Success

Theories, principles, and practices of classroom management for middle and high school teachers. Topics include community, relationships, communication, cultural responsiveness, organizational procedures, classroom routines, problem-solving, decision making and responding to disruptions. Course emphasizes creating positive learning environments for students from diverse backgrounds in multicultural classrooms. Also offered for graduate-level credit as ITP 511 and may be taken only once for credit.
