Mth 495 Historical Topics in Mathematics for Middle School Teachers

A survey of the historical development of topics in mathematics from ancient to modern times, with special emphasis on topics in arithmetic, algebra and informal geometry. Not approved for major credit. Available for graduate credit toward the graduate certificate program in middle school mathematics. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Mth 595 and may be taken only once for credit.
