ME 612 Advanced Vibrations

Vibration analysis of single and multiple degree of freedom systems. Topics include: (1) modeling of linear systems using matrix methods; (2) modal analysis; (3) general forcing and Fourier series methods; (4) random and self excited vibrations; (5)nonlinear vibrations. Also offered as ME 512 and may be taken only once for credit.
