Geog 366 Historical Geography of North America

Survey of the evolving geography of North America during the last four centuries; the formation and growth of regions from the initial period of European exploration and colonization to the present. Topic include the acquisition of geographical knowledge; cultural transfer and acculturation; westward expansion; resource exploitation; regional and national integration; and landscape change.
