G 520 Applied Geophysics

Principles of geophysical measurement and interpretation; seismology, gravimetry, isostasy, geomagnetism, terrestrial electricity. Includes a survey of geophysical exploration techniques. Three lectures, one 2-hour lab. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as G 420 and may be taken only once for credit.
