Ec 466 The Political Economy of Mexican Migration

A substantial proportion of people born in Mexico is estimated to live in the U.S. This course is designed to provide an economic understanding of this phenomenon, by investigating economic analyses of development, poverty, inequality, wage determination and migration; with particular attention to the economic situation in the U.S. and Mexico, and the economic relations between the two nations. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Ec 566 and may be taken only once for credit.
