Survey of the economic history of ethnic groups in the United States, various economic theoretical perspectives advanced to account for past and current experience of people of color in the U.S. economy, and examination of selected economic policy issues. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Ec 519 and may be taken only once for credit. Expected preparation: Ec 201.
