Bi 550 Phylogenetic Biology

Study of the history of life's diversification through the use of phylogenetic trees, with a focus on how genes, organisms, and traits have evolved. Includes hands-on computer analyses of DNA sequences. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Bi 450 and may be taken only once for credit. Expected preparation: Bi 424, Bi 426.
