Bi 528 Human Genetics

The organization of the human genome, pedigree analysis, gene mapping, chromosome abnormalities, sex determination, and gene defects (metabolic and hemoglobin). Topics are discussed from the point of view of clinical applications and current research. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Bi 428 and may be taken only once for credit.
