Bi 436 Behavioral Endocrinology

A comparative examination of the major hormone systems that regulate behavior across the animal kingdom. Emphasizes the reciprocating nature of hormone and behavior interactions and seeks to understand how natural selection drives the evolution of hormone structure and function. Discussions of the primary literature emphasize current knowledge and limitations in the field. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Bi 536 and may be taken only once for credit.
