SW 534 Advanced Clinical Practice II

This second course focuses on increasing student self-awareness of the perspectives, strengths, biases and limitations they bring to clinical practice. Attention is given to exploring practice theories and specific intervention skills related to clinical work. Students are supported to learn about practice theory and cultural context models. Students will learn skills in managing reactivity (their own and that of client systems) and in the provision of different interventions through direct practice.
